When Dan Holm's article hit the Des Moines Register it confirmed what I knew might happen. Ross Larson made it official when he offered his committed to the Sooners of Oklahoma. Larson, not afraid of change, switched schools and classes to become an Ankeny Hawk after winning his first state title at Ballard of Huxley. Larson, one of the best in the country, knew a good fit when he felt it. He was on spring break when he had a gut feeling that Oklahoma and the Sooners would be the place he would wrestle.
