Audio Interview: Coleman Scott
There will be two days of celebration and fundraising activities supporting 2012 U.S. Olympic freestyle wrestler Coleman Scott in his hometown of Waynesburg, Pa., June 29-30.
The activities have been organized by the local community to allow citizens to celebrate Coleman's outstanding achievement and give him their best wishes and support before he heads off to London, England to represent our nation.
On Friday, June 29, there are three activities on the schedule, a t-shirt signing, a public reception and a night at the races.
On Saturday, June 30, scheduled activities include a wrestling clinic, a meet-and-greet and another t-shirt signing.

"My coaches and friends from back home are doing everything. There are probably too many to mention to make sure I don't miss anyone, but I want to thank them all for their support," said Scott.
Scott will represent the USA at 60 kg/132 lbs. at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. He will compete at the ExCel Center on Saturday, August 11.
Scott was a three-time Pennsylvania state champion for Waynesburg High School. At Oklahoma State, he was a four-time All-American and 2008 NCAA champion. He won the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in April, then qualified for the Olympic Team in the Olympic Team Wrestle-off in Times Square in New York City in June.
