This week in Colorado Springs, Colo., USA Wrestling will be hosting two of its major annual events, the USA Wrestling Board of Directors meeting and the USA Wrestling State Leaders Conference.

The Board of Directors meeting is set for Saturday, August 25 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort and Conference Center. The meeting is chaired by USA Wrestling President James Ravannack. He joins us for this interview to look back at the Olympic performance and discuss the topics under consideration at the Board meeting. In major consideration is a proposal to change the structure of the USA Wrestling Board itself. There will be committee elections and the presentation of the 2012-13 USA Wrestling budget for review and approval.

The State Leaders Conference allows the important volunteer leaders from USA Wrestling's state associations to get together, share ideas, develop best practices and make major decisions on grassroots programs and activities.
