Hi everyone,

I'm writing today with some very important information about a brand new initiative at Columbia. It's called Giving Day.

Giving Day is October 24th. It is a 24-hour, online effort to raise money for Columbia University by way of a competition among all the graduate and undergraduate schools and programs, including Columbia Athletics. They're competing for significant incentive funds, based on how much money they can raise. They need a lot of people to join the effort and help raise as much money as they can on this one day!

Here are the three things you need to know now:

1. This is an online challenge, only gifts made online will count.

2. All online gifts made on October 24th will count.

3. This is a competition. Individual sports programs have the chance to earn extra money, as well as Columbia Athletics all together.

Make sure to mark October 24th in your calendar as the day to make a gift online to Columbia Wrestling, and spread the word to everyone you know!
